The Role
An amazing experience, a must to anyone looking to gain an understanding of what the property industry has to offer.
I have felt very welcome in my office, I wanted to get involved from the start and I think my team appreciated this attitude.
I had a fantastic team, they were always there to help when needed; always answering any questions i had.
You definitely get out what you put in. Definitely don’t sit around waiting for work, get out and make yourself known.
Of course you want to get stuck in and show your team what you can do, but I understood from the start there is a limit in the work that I could be responsible for; I just tried to do my best whatever the task given.
This experience has helped me understand how the industry works within a truly global property company, and equally important, how I work within it. I can apply this invaluable experience and skills to my final year of University and any future job interviews.
The Company
A very hard working team.
Very good! lots of insightful talks about the different departments within Savills, the Graduate Scheme, and the APC. We have played soft-ball in Hyde Park and enjoyed a few pub outings.
Savils paid the Summer Intern a salary.
Company Parties/Events
I really hope I will be considered for the 2012 Graduate Scheme.
The Culture
indeed!
Its Mayfair!
The current Graduates invited the Summer Scheme students to a few of their events in and around Mayfair. My team leader always invited us out for drinks and I found this a great opportunity to get to know the team!
Throughout my placement I have been involved in: Dragon Boat racing on the river Thames, annual cricket matches, social team outings, Softball in Hyde Park, horse racing at Sandown Park (albeit ending up the biggest looser), and a charity auction event at the prestigious Hurlingham Club.
