The Role
It's highly enjoyable, relaxed and rewarding. Creativity is always encouraged.
Everyone helps each other
I'm a bit slow sometimes, but my line managers were always free to help, especially on the more challenging topics.
Always busy, but could take a break whenever I wanted.
You have full control over what goes into the code libraries and also as to what you publish online.
C++ is key topic at uni, so this placement will be invaluable.
The Company
v. fun
Overall well, but I was missed off a mailing list for the first week so I missed out on a few inductions.
You're thrown in at the deep end. But you learn quicker like that.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
I'd work for them if they weren't in my home town!
The Culture
There were things almost every other night.
Cambridge isn't cheap, but it's not too expensive if you go out during the week.
tbh not incredible
