The Role
I was given work on real projects and supported to devlop new skills
I felt part of a team and valued from the outset.
My mangaer was very supportive and seemed to be able to find my level and help me push through it
As i was on real projects, dealines were tight. I was given plenty of work. There were moments when projects were edning and new beginnings for downtime and I was encouraged to research areas of interest realing to the business
Although I was working on projects there was the perfect balance of responsibiity and pressure but also respoect that I was on placement to learn.
Everything I did on my placement year was directly relevant to my degree and more specificaly my final year
The Company
The atmosphere was good. Although quite quiet at times during busy periods
I was always gently pushed to exceed my own expectations of growth
There is a really good investment of time and effort to help you grow and develop skills
Flexi Time
Company Parties/Events
I have accepted a job to start oce I have successfully completed my final year
The Culture
I am a mature student so my clubbing days are over!!
I played 5 a side and there are quite a few occasions where they organise a meal out or drinks
