The Role
Great learning experience with a dynamic work environment
My projects were included in all of the team discussion agendas and were followed up on regurarly
Answered any question but expected work to be done independently
Flexible work hours but the projects in addition to all the intern events can keep you busy all day
I was given 2 projects
Assisted me greatly with my programming skills as I am not from a Computer Science background
The Company
Exciting atmosphere, very dynamic, a lot of different people and other interns worked in close quarters on my floor
A lot of different events for interns with clear structure Formal training could be improved however by providing more structure to the syllabus
Provided all information and training needed throughout internship I could ask any question and had a lot of GS provided online resources available
Flexi Time
Sports and Social Club
Great company to work for
The Culture
Interns understood each other very well and organized a lot of events independently as well
The breakfast in the canteen is great and cheap However the area is quite expensive for living
A lot of bars and clubs around that area (central london e.g. Chancery Lane, St. Pauls, Holborn)
Company sports teams were readily available and 2 days of field trips are organized by the company for interns as well
