The Role
Brilliant time, good insight into the banking industry and the company. Great people, good technological methodologies.
Every person I met was willing to spend time, teaching and explaining concepts/processes. So I think its fair to say I was valued.
Very clear instructions on what was expected from me, from both HR and my team.
This varied a lot, I was given my own project which I could always work on. If I wasn't working on my project I'd be shadowing/in meetings etc or just around my team.
It's an investment bank. They handle a lot of sensitive and private data. I wasn't expecting to be given a lot of responsibility, however for my own project i was given full creative control. As for work other that my individual project, any changes I made were supervised or overseen. Plus there's a bunch of testing in place so if i broke anything, we'd know :)
v much.
The Company
Felt like a tech company, on the tech floors. On the front office floors, it felt like an investment bank.
HR did a brilliant job. Shout out
They invested a heap of time, training and development into interns. They understand how important we are in terms of the companies future development.
Awesome.
The Culture
Yes and No. If you want a good social scene you'll make it for yourself.

So and so. It was a 10 week internship, we had a few intern activities. Apart from that there are loads of societies in all areas such as faith, sport, culture etc etc
