The Role
I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Mars.
My opinion always counted
I always had support from my manager and had regular development meetings
I always had lots of work to do but managing my time well enabled me to complete the jobs in time
I have a huge responsibility at Mars, ensuring that the the merchandise that we buy is sourced from a safe ethical factory, minimising the risk of damaging the Mars brands
I have definitely built up my confidence & skills and by attending many training courses I feel I have the right transferable skills to help me in my future career
The Company
Everyone works hard at what they do and everyone is approachable. The ambience of the office is also open and bright
Very organised as they have had many placement students before me,
Mars heavily invests time into my personal development
Flexi Time
Financial Bonus
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
I am hoping to return to Mars and will be contacting them in the new year to find out if there are any positions available. Mars does not leave jobs open.
The Culture
There are 7 of us in my year but 19 next year with many social events happening
I live at home
Nightlife isn't that great but there are trains into London
There are lots of opportunities and Mars holds a lot of activities and sports groups
