The Role
Very useful learning opportunity with lot of points of contact.
Very valued and given responsibility early on.
Provided help as requested.
Were given projects and also a personal portfolio as part of a mock trading game. Did additional work which contributed to the work of my colleagues.
Enough to learn about the industry but not too much to be overwhelmed.
Amazing knowledge in financial products and markets.
The Company
Very supportive and collegiate atmosphere. Always willing to help and offer advice on ongoing projects.
Lot of extra events and meetings we could attend. Meetings with senior people, outside office events, volunteering day, results discussion with company CEO, rooftop BBQ.
Extra support and training received at both Bloomberg's and Thomson Reuter's headquarters. Personal accounts for both systems. 9 day training on derivatives and accounting.

Lot of room for growth and career progression. Full time offer given to summer analysts who made effort to deliver.
The Culture
Very good group of people, willing to go out and chat.
Cost is high, but it is a given for the central London location. Can travel a bit and reach the edgier, trendy places.
Great nightlife with lots of events Thursday-Saturday.
Lot of opportunities: football, touch rugby.
