    • Were given projects and also a personal portfolio as part of a mock trading game. Did additional work which contributed to the work of my colleagues.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?

    • Very supportive and collegiate atmosphere. Always willing to help and offer advice on ongoing projects.

    • Lot of extra events and meetings we could attend. Meetings with senior people, outside office events, volunteering day, results discussion with company CEO, rooftop BBQ.

    • Extra support and training received at both Bloomberg's and Thomson Reuter's headquarters. Personal accounts for both systems. 9 day training on derivatives and accounting.

    • Very good group of people, willing to go out and chat.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?

    • Cost is high, but it is a given for the central London location. Can travel a bit and reach the edgier, trendy places.

    • Great nightlife with lots of events Thursday-Saturday.
