The Role
Really enjoyed the internship. Gained a lot of great experiences and learnt a huge amount.
Really felt valued by my colleagues. Mostly treated as a member of the team and was often given quite challenging work.
As well as working with members in my team (including my manager), where I received regular feedback on my work, I also met up with my manager once a week. They provided my with great feedback, allowing me to improve and develop as the 10 weeks progressed.
I was very busy on a daily basis. There was rarely a time when I didn't have work to do. If I were ever in that position, just by being a little proactive and asking, I could always get more.
I was given quite a lot of responsibility. I was given large sections of work to do, with support of the wider team.
During my time at Santander, I learnt a great amount. Not only in terms of the industry, but also in terms of myself. I developed my communication, team-working and analytical skills, to name but a few. I'm sure these will aid in my university and also work in the future.
The Company
The atmosphere was a perfect working environment. It was not too strict, but also not too loud. It provided a great place to work well within the team, whilst also having the added bonus of being very fun on regular occasion. It was a very enjoyable place to work and I would recommend it to people thinking of applying.
The internship was well organised.

The Culture
Took part in a charity project, to raise money for Santander's Charity of the Year. Worked with other interns to organise and host a charity quiz for other Santander employees. Had the ability to learn a great amount. Especially on improving my organisational and team-working skills. Event was a success and managed to raise over £1000 in the team, which was then matched by Santander.
