About You
I attended the Celebrating Women at EY Event and really enjoyed it. It was a well organized event where we were got the opportunity to listen to Lisa Cameron talking about her journey to become a partner and other female associates talking about their working experience at EY. We also attended some workshop relating to different personalites in team working environments which was really interesting as I learned what kind of personality I would bring into a team setting. In addition, it was a good event to also network with other female students at universities in the UK. Overall, I though the event was very useful and a great experience.
The other attendants and the EY staff were very friendly and approachable. I felt comfortable in the environment.
I received guidance to the workshop and could ask any questions if I wanted to.
I think the skills I developed will be very important for my studies and future endeavours. I feel more comfortable netowrking and talking to new people. Also the things I learned at the workshop will help me when working in teams with other people.
The Company
Very well structured.
It was a good atmosphere with attendants eager to listen and learn to speakers. It was relaxed and friendly which made me feel more comfortable in a new environment.
I felt that the company invested in everyone in a good manner allocating people to workshops and answering attendants questions.
It provided a good insight to as what the working environment would be like.
It helped me understand the culture very well. It seems like the culture in EY is demanding and challenging, but also very rewarding and friendly. Employers look out for everyones interest, and being a female in the company does not pose any other challenges than to as being a male.
It was valuable as I would like to apply for an internship in the company, and possibly join a graduate scheme after completing my degree.
Everything Else
I was reimbursed my train and tube ticket.
Yes we had several moments to network with the other attendants and staff.
They were good.
Yes I have been receiving emails about this post-event.
Yes I definitely would.
