About You
I enjoyed the insight programme greatly. It was a lot of fun and the atmosphere was very friendly and welcoming.
The organisers put a lot of effort into the event and were extremely helpful at any time, which made me feel very valued.
The support was also great, especially during a client-pitch simulation, where each team was supported by one of EY's employees. They provided a lot of guidance and support during this activity.
The information received mainly assisted me in my career choice and less in my degree studies. However, the event was mainly focused on future careers and the work that EY does, hence this is not a bad thing.
The Company
The insight was very well structured, there was a detailed timetable for the 2 day event. This helped to get most out of the program and make it as useful as possible, given the time constraints.
The atmosphere was very friendly and fun. Everyone at the event was keen to meet new people and make most out of the event, which contributed to the great atmosphere.
The workshops during the event helped in the development of networking, presentation, application and other professional skills. The firm invested a lot in assisting me in my career choice.
Through various presentations, interviews and networking opportunities, I received a great understanding of what it would be like to work for EY.
Even though I did not participate in any work that the firm does, I gained a great insight into the company's culture through the various networking opportunities, presentations and interviews.
Through my degree, I already had a vague idea of what I wanted to do in the future. However, the event provided me with a much clearer idea of this, as the different service lines were explained in great detail.
Everything Else
I was reimbursed for my travel expenses and a hotel stay was provided.
Yes, as mentioned above, there were plenty of opportunities.
There was a dinner at the end of the first day, which provided further opportunities for networking.
Yes, by networking with various employees, a lot of information could be obtained about these activities
I would definitely recommend this insight to anyone who is interested in working in audit or tax.
