The Role
During my stay with the firm I felt that I am making a real contribution. The culture of the firm attracts amazing individuals and the opportunity to interact with experienced professionals on a daily basis was incredible.
Every talk started with the intern class being congratulated for getting our positions. Every day we were reminded that being a part of the firm, even as interns, means that we are the best possible candidate for the task that we are given.
Due to the flat structure of the company interns sit shoulder to shoulder with their managers. This allows for seeing exactly what it is that they do on a day-to-day basis and learn from their experience.
Workload was manageable, but more demanding compared to my previous exposure to university projects.
The internship projects we were given were actual bussiness problems that require a solution. The impact of some of the projects was global.
The emphasis during the internship was put on soft skills, not technical skills. Ability to learn new things, admit mistakes, and seek appropriate guidance are some examples.
The Company
People were friendly and professional.
The timeline of the projects was clearly defined in advance.
From exposure to the culture to actual training seminars and online courses, I learned something new every day.

The Culture
We were brought together for seminars and for networking events.
London is an expensive city. The firm compensation was enough to provide a comfortable life, but some savings are required for the first month, before the first salary is received.
Extremely diverse.
A wide range of networks and groups exist within the company, like support groups, religious groups, and spots groups.
