The Role
really learnt a lot from this placement in relation to professional role and life skills such as improvement in my self confidence and in parking skills and driving ability,
everyone worked as a team but also got on well. everyone was really helpful to each other.
progress was monitered extremly well. I had my first month review exactly four weeks after i started and it was very thorough. During my 6 months I was at head office a number of times for additional training and an exam.
despite the long hours the day was so busy that i never once felt like i was looking at my watch willing the time on. normally every job says that but none are actually like that but i can honestly say enterprise is a fast pace work enviroment.
You are given the training and skills to do almost everything. if you cant do something your manager will teach you how rather than just doing it for you. i never felt like an intern but more a member of staff.
I haven been given a great insight into how the business works. i thought it would be simple renting cars but there is a lot more behind the scenes and this experience will really stand to me in my future career.
The Company
Great atmosphere between staff and management.
Very structured. A folder with a guided timeline whic my managers and trainers made sure i followed.
were very helpful to train me as much as they could. made iteasy for me to attend training sessions at head office. gave me the time of work and a car to transport me to and from.
Financial Bonus
i would really like to work for enterprise in the future the only off putting thing is the long hours.
The Culture
we all met up on a regular basis through out our training to socialise.
london was very expensive but i was able to manage well enough. i balanced rent and food with socialising and i dont feel like i missed out on anything.
plenty of choice and availability!!
again london such a touristy spot that there was so much to do and see, the work hours however did not leave much time during the week for this though so it was mostly at the weekends.
