The Role
I really enjoyed my time at Goldman Sachs. It was a vibrant and exciting environment in which the learning curve was impressive.
They make me feel part of the team immediately; including me in everything and supporting me when needed.
Support inside the firm is great, people are always available to help.
My daily schedule varied greatly. Some of it was entirely programming, other was a mixture between working at my desks and having meetings.
Responsibility was given when requested. It was up to me to get more responsibility when I felt conformable.
As I said the learning curve is impressive, thanks to the great support offered by the entire firm through trainings and one-to-ones I felt that I have greatly developed my skills. Without the background given by my university studies I wouldn't have been able to achieve as much.
The Company
Fun ann exciting but at the same time productive and very professional.
The overall structure was given, but the projects allowed me to direct them where I deemed best.
The team and company invested a lot of time in my personal training and development. They care about the individual and this allowed me to give back to other interns when it was needed.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Financial Bonus
Healthcare/Dental
Very, they offered me a full time job which I will accept.
The Culture
Yes there was, we were often invited to events together. This allowed us to bond and share experiences.
London is a very expensive city but Goldman organised events which we didn't have to pay for.
Great nightlife, we were often invited to drinks with the team. This was very fun!
Yes, the team was open to meeting outside working hours.
