The Role
It was a very interesting experience and i really enjoyed that i could look at a lot of different aspects of CMB within HSBC, it was very enjoyable
Extremely, was asked to stay on and was always included in the team meetings and when there was organised events
There was constant contact with the graduate team. My manager during my placement and then the extra month that i stayed was constantly wanting the best for me and i am extremely appreciative of her
Extremely busy
I was treated as a employee rather than an intern, which i preferred. I had a lot of responsibility, and then when i was kept on there was even more for me to have responsibility over
A lot, time management and using my initiative were the key skills that i developed
The Company
Stressful at times because of workload, but it was never a dull day. Everyone was extremely friendly and we always went to lunch or drinks
My manager and I sat down and wrote out our own objectives, that were linked to the original pack. There was some confusion in the pack but these were ironed out
Heavily, they took the time to get department leaders to talk to us about further steps, and they were always wanting us to strive for better and telling us how they will further support our development
very appealing they offer so many opportunities which I'm very interested in
The Culture
yes
expensive but it was london, you're definitely paid enough to cover it
