  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Enjoyed the internship a lot because the company has a great culture and you are treated equally.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • I became a valued member of the team from day one. Colleagues included me in their social activities as well as in all the work meetings.

  • There was a good balance between being given support and being left to do your own thing and work on the projects.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Not too busy, but had enough work for the day. Was not expected to stay overtime.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • Communicated with senior management and presented to the whole team. Was given real tasks, i.e. providing weekly competitor reports that were used for future planning of agenda.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • The skills will really help me at university, especially time management skill.

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • The general atmosphere was very lively! Even though everyone was really busy, they found time to be social and to include me in their daily activities.

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • The internship overall was extremely well organised. HR did a great job in familiarising everyone with the company. Although the induction could have been improved by proving interns with the tour of the office, because at first if was hard to find places.

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • Colleague took me with them to video shoots, breakfasts with clients and drinks with agencies. They made sure that I got the whole grasp of what it is like working in the company and in the apartment in particular.

  • Very appealing! I will be applying for a full time position within the company.

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Yes, the other interns were extremely friendly and everyone got along. The firm organised many networking and social events to make sure that interns get a chance to find friends.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • I lived at home, but socialising was quite expensive in the City.
