The Role
The work I was given was continuous, but I wasn't sure that the area I was in was right for me.
Everyone knew my name and was willing to answer any questions. The teams I worked in were also particularly sociable.
Any worries or difficulties I had were sorted immediately and everyone was easy to talk to.
Some days were better than others. Whilst working on clients the work was continuous, but some days in the office I had to push a lot harder to find work.
I was basically working on my own in terms of talking to clients, but I had a team there just in case I had any questions. In the office I was given jobs at which were at the lower end of the responsibility chain.
The skills I have learnt will definitely help me in the future as I will most likely be working in a similar area.
The Company
Out on site was a lot easier to talk and have a laugh with people, in the office was a little more reserved.
There was an excellant induction week for when we arrived, and the rest of our 6 weeks were mapped out for us before we even sat at a desk.
The company made sure that we had everything we needed to do our job - from online training, buddy systems to laptops and free coffee!
Company Parties/Events
A job is likely for me there, it just depends whether I want to work in that department or I want to re-apply in a different business unit.
The Culture
Some were really cool, but there was the odd one who was all work or just an idiot!
Didn't pay rent and Leeds is a relatively cheap city to blow money in.
It was pretty hard to stay in on a work night with there always being somewhere to go in Leeds.
There was 5aside football, but when I tried to organise a team for an inter office 11 a side competition the interest soon evaporated.
