The Role
All enjoyable tasks in a very sociable and friendly office
From day one I was treated with the same respect and responsibility as a graduate engineer
Help was always there for when it was needed and the training required to complete projects was always given.
Fairly busy. There were odd weeks where I was waiting for a new project to start where it was less busy.
Same responsibility of a graduate engineer
The organisations skills and time management will be greatly beneficial let a lone the engineering skills learnt during my placement
The Company
very young office so it was easy to talk to everyone.
Everything was ready for me from the first day. My line manager had my introduction and security clearance courses all ready.
Sent me on a few courses which were beneficial to my development
Flexi Time
Sports and Social Club
Company Parties/Events
Very appealing. I worked quite a lot with a new graduate who had completed a year in industry 2 years ago, so they obviously hire previous year in industry students.
The Culture
Went on a weekend away with 12 colleagues within the first month of the placement.
Derby is very cheap. Perfect!
It isn't very good but we went to nottingham a few times where one of the graduates lived which was only 30 mins away and was a very good night out
yeah socials and clubs including, golf, football, cricket badminton!
