The Role
I had a fantastic time over the 9 weeks of my internship
My project was used for several upcoming conferences and some of my daily tasks were shared with the whole team
Every member of my team were happy to answer any question I had and were always there to help when I had a problem
Due to it being a less busy time in the insurance industry I was not that busy the whole time. However the charity project which you do as part of the internship means you constantly have work.
Because of the niche nature of the insurance industry, a lot of the internship was just learning about different parts of the industry. Not that this was a bad thing of course.
My computer skills vastly improved, as did my ability to work within an office based team.
The Company
Fantastic
Very well organised
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
Above 25 days holiday

If you gain a place on the internship its very likely you'll also get onto the Graduate scheme
The Culture
Insurance by its nature promotes a great social scene.
Central London is expensive
Charity project with other interns was a great way to make friends and give back to society
