The Role
interesting work, very helpful colleagues. Regular, insightful meetings with managers and directrors from different parts of the company.
They were very helpful and always willing to answer questions.
My supervisor sat close to my desk so was always on hand to help me out. The HR team were also quite helpful and friendly.
Some days when the entire floor was busy there was not a lot to do.
reasonable level of responsibility, especially in the intern portfolio challenge.
Leadership and organisation skills acquired were quite helpful.
The Company
usually relaxed but got quite exciting if the markets were turbulent.
Few issues with the intern challenge but overall quite organised.
Recieved Excel training before I started and were given a lot of talks and lessons on different tools used by the company.
Subsidised Canteen
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
Not sure whether I have an offer yet.
The Culture
Bowling nights, networking events and drinks with interns and colleagues.
Slightly expensive.
Not really a night-life kind of guy.
Had a volunteer day through work and a lot of things to do in London outside work.
