The Role
The placement was great overall, both challenging and rewarding.
All the people I have worked with have directly expressed their positive feedback about the work I have done and, as a result, people from different teams have asked for my assistance in different projects.
Any issue or question that I had during my placement was solved promptly together with my supervisors.
A usual day was quite alert, which is great for someone who wants to learn.
I have attended multiple internal and external meetings with architects, contractors, designers, planners and even clients. Moreover, the tasks that I have been working had direct impact on ongoing project and therefore I have been given great amounts of responsibility and trust.
The training will definitely help in my future career.
The Company
People were very friendly, generally relaxed and happy to help or chat about anything. It is a great working environment.
Generally, I had specific deadlines on multiple projects along the way.
The company has great resources that are available to all new starters.
Flexi Time
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Working from home
Healthcare/Dental
I would personally enjoy working full time for the company after graduation.
The Culture
A large number of social events were scheduled during my time at the company.
The area is not cheap but it is London after all.
It is more of a business area, but it is very close to the centre of London.
Different projects and trainings were available outside work.
