    The Role

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • I was treated like a full-time member of staff and was very quickly integrated into office events and life.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • I was allowed to do my work in a manner which I felt most effective and efficient for the task at hand. When I did need help and support there were multiple managers and colleagues who were more than willing to assist me.

    5/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Whilst the skills I gained may not help me directly in my studies the methods of working, managerial skills I gained and the advanced problem solving skills I developed will help me hugely in the future

    5/5

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • The atmosphere was relaxed and not highly strung. There was plenty of conversation and fun but it never distracted from the work, not became an irritation. It was very easy to approach senior management for help and advice. It didn't feel like there was a hierarchy in the office.

    4/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • Organisation could have been better. It did take a while to get access to the sites and buildings I needed. The "on-boarding" process could be smoother.

    3/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
