The Role
I really enjoyed my time at the company. I feel that I made a valuable contribution and integrated very well into my department and the company as a whole.
I was treated like a full-time member of staff and was very quickly integrated into office events and life.
I was allowed to do my work in a manner which I felt most effective and efficient for the task at hand. When I did need help and support there were multiple managers and colleagues who were more than willing to assist me.
I always had plenty to do but I never felt swamped with tasks or project work.
I was given a significant project to see through from start to end which has made a tangible positive impact to the company and will continue to into the future.
Whilst the skills I gained may not help me directly in my studies the methods of working, managerial skills I gained and the advanced problem solving skills I developed will help me hugely in the future
The Company
The atmosphere was relaxed and not highly strung. There was plenty of conversation and fun but it never distracted from the work, not became an irritation. It was very easy to approach senior management for help and advice. It didn't feel like there was a hierarchy in the office.
Organisation could have been better. It did take a while to get access to the sites and buildings I needed. The "on-boarding" process could be smoother.
While I did not have any formal training courses I feel like the company taught me many valuable managerial skills and made a clear effort to integrate me into projects to make an impact.

I would very much like to return to the company for future employment and should be doing so.
The Culture
There were office drinks fairly regularly and there were drinks and a meal on my week in the office. There was a good social environment amongst the placement students staying in halls.
Leamington is not the cheapest place to live but it is a great town with loads to do
There are many restaurants, bars, clubs and much more!
There were sports clubs as well as community outreach.
