The Role
Through networking I was able to get out of the office occasionally to drive some of the cars and experience the products.
I felt my team valued my work as they included me in the team meetings and asked for my opinions.
I was not given a large amount of support; but I did not require much, as I this was not my first placement.
Initially I was busy most of the day. Towards the end of the placement I was less busy.
My work was the first part of a large project to improve and document standard testing procedures for automated driving. I was responsible for the testing procedure for automated parking.
It didn't involve any work from my degree.
The Company
Loud. There was a flexi desking policy which meant it could be difficult to get a desk and I did not sit with my team.
The placement was reasonably well organised, with introduction presentations and a wrap up presentation. I was assigned a buddy throughout my placement who I could ask questions from
I was given £200 to attend a course of my choosing. I chose rally driving which was great fun. i also attended numerous tours and presentations additionally to my day job.

Subsidised/Company Gym
Appealing.
The Culture
Yes, because I lived in Coventry university accommodation with 100 other students. Played football on wednesdays and socialised on thursday and friday nights.
The accommodation was £87 a week. Coventry was pretty average for other costs
Went to Kasbah in Coventry on Friday nights which was good as most other students on the internship would attend.
Students organised footbal, go karting, paint balling and other activities.
