The Role
I felt very valued by my colleagues, which was reflected by the responsibility I was given.
Colleagues were always willing to offer their advise and expertise.
I always had tasks to complete.
I was given the chance to work with all levels of staff. I was also in regular communciation with custodian banks.
The investment knowledge I have acquired at BlackRock will be incredibly useful when I am studying for my degree in economics.
The Company
The office was a pleasant environment to work in.
The internship was very well organised throughout.
I had regular lunch & learn sessions with senior members of staff as well as trips another UK office.
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
Healthcare from home
BlackRock is a great firm to work for.
The Culture
Due to being in the smaller Edinburgh office, the social scene among interns was not as good as the London office.
Lots of good place for lunch are nearby the office.
There is not much nightlife near the offce.
There could have been more opportunities to get involved outside of work.
