  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Was really good, given a lot of responsibility, able to take charge of my project and talk to people throughout the company to complete it. Also given the opportunity to see different parts of the company such as the Manufacturing side and different departments.

  • I was given a task that generated a lot of excitement in my department as it was increasing the capability of the tools used.

  • Given as much support as I needed, someone was always there to ask questions.

  • Always able to find interesting work to do to keep me busy

  • Really friendly, felt very included

  • Very well organised, was sent a description of my project 3 weeks before i started.

  • Very good, able to learn a new software relevant to my degree.

  • Very, they spend a lot of money on Grads and they have a good retention rate of undergrads

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Yes, we all lived in the same student halls so it was very social

  • Not too expensive

  • We went out every weekend
