The Role
overall i found this placement absolutely amazing, all the staff were very friendly and always helped me and i was giving alot of responsibilty and i would defianately recomment this placement for any pharmacy student as it is a valuable experience.
as i stated above the whole team were very friendly and made me feel like a part of the team, when i struggled they guided me and when i did things right i was praised.
whenever possible i was guided, then by few weeks i was very good at my job so didnt need much assistance.
on some occasions the pharamcy was very busy and we had patients waiting over an hour but this is due to the location and the demand of the pharmacy which is a busy pharmacy. however i did enjoy it when it was slighlty busy rather den empty and it gave me something todo.
i belive i played avery active role in the pharmacy and even the whole staff said to me before i left i will be missed alot because i was always first to run to new jobs and responsibilty
i defianately believe this experience was so valuable, my tutuor helped me to become familiar with drugs and talked me through how they owkred and what they are used for
The Company
the place and people were very lively and there wAS a great atmosphere despite all the responsibilty and hardwork
everything was organised and arranged to a great standard
everyone offered to help and whenever i needed assistance someone was there, if the pharmacist was too busy then the dispensers would aid me
Flexi Time
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
in future i am hoping to do my prerej with lloyds and hopefully will get in
The Culture
all the staff went on a bowling trip so that i could get to know them outside the work place it was AMAZING
i had to pay £85 pounds on travel for 6weeks which i found quite expensive
i did not experience this
