The Role
I really enjoy my placement. I have learnt a lot from the placement from dispensing to observing my tutor in giving professional advice to patient and working with other medical professions. I enjoy taking part as a pharmacy team member and working as a team.
Although the placement is only 6 weeks, but I really felt that I was treated as a family.
My tutor had given me a lot of opportunities to learn and experience new things e.g. visit one of the out patient clinic, working in the MDS pharmacy team etc
The pharmacy team has shared all the work loan equally, therefore I have enough time for my own study and training.
As a pharmacy student, I have given fair responsibility for my given task.
This placement has given a full overview for out patient clinic pharmacy and learnt few more about specialist drugs.
The Company
As the pharmacy team is a family, so we always having fun.
The work placement is very flexible. I set up my own plans in completing different task e.g. workbook and daily tasks like dispensing.
I am preparing to learn much more in future, if I am given the opportunity to work in the company as a pre-registration trainee.
Healthcare from home
I am waiting for their reply for my pre-registration training programme.
The Culture
There are not much interaction with my fellow placement students
