The Role
I enjoyed working in the store as the pharmacist was encouraging and incredibly helpful. There was some animosity between a couple of colleagues which ruined my experience slightly as the whole team did not support each other.
I felt valued most the time. However, as the newest member of the team I sometimes felt I was blamed for incomplete or incorrect tasks which were not always my fault.
I felt the pharmacist was incredible in how she taught and managed me and my learning. I truly felt like I had achieved what I had set to at the beginning of the placement.
I felt I was always working which is just how I prefer it.
Due to animosity between two members of the small team, when there were holidays, as the two main team members could not communicate I was left a lot of their own tasks however, I did not mind as such as I learnt a lot.
I definitely learnt invaluable tasks.
The Company
As mentioned not all team members got along and I think a bit of maturity on their parts would've made the work place more enjoyable.
I seemed to know what I was doing from day one and quickly established myself in my role which was great.
I had one regional training day which was a huge help but I would've appreciated a couple more as we don't always get to learn a huge deal in the busy pharmacy. A few more to go over basic pharmacy and OTC medications would've been great.
I would be honoured to work at Lloyds as my pharmacist was great and I feel I would really learn alot from her and the company.
