The Role
I am enjoying my placement so far, as it is very diverse and there are many opportunities to work on different interesting projects to help and keep London moving.
My colleagues are very inclusive, friendly and understanding. They trust in my work and give me responsibilities.
My supervisor gives me very supportive guidance and advise and always takes time to listen to what I have to say or answer my questions.
I am busy all day, but it is not too much and there is no pressure from the team. It is a realistic amount of work.
I have been given quite a lot of responsibility on several projects.
I think the skills I am learning here at TFL will be very useful for my work.
The Company
The atmosphere in the office is very friendly and welcoming.
I am very happy with the way it was organised.
The company invested a lot of money in our training and took extra care to find the best possible training sessions for us and also include what our interests were
Subsidised Canteen
National Travel
Very appealing. I would be happy to work here
The Culture
We all have lunch together regularly and at the beginning of the placement there is a big social introductory event where you get to know everyone and can bond with your colleagues
Very expensive, as it is just in the middle of Westminster
not much of a nightlife I would say
TfL offers a lot of voluntary work and staff network groups to get involved with outside of work, if you fancy to
