    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Well organised placement with a folder with things to do to help guide you through the placement and make the most out of your time there.

    4/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • The staff were very friendly and helpful, I felt valued as a team member as for example, some counter staff would ask me questions about the dispensary.

    5/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • 4/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • The placement had busy phases but it also had quiet periods in which I could fill out my folder and take time to learn things.

    4/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I had a fair amount of responsibility which made me feel valued as an employee rather than being treated like a child who didn't know anything. I had previous experience in a pharmacy which i displayed and I think this increased the responsibilities my boss was willing to give to me.

    5/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Some helpful information in the folder given, and good general guidance on what I should have learnt on the placement, although I feel I didn't learn a lot more than I already knew before I started.

    4/5

    The Company

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • I was given a lot of infomation about Lloydspharmacy and how they work, which was interesting and informative should I want to work there in future.

    4/5

  • 10. What were the perks on your work placement?
  • Staff Sales/Staff Shop

    3/5

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
