About You
Great people, friendly open plan office and an exciting, ambitious place to work.
The work given to us was challenging and important for the lawyers concerned. The extra curricular tasks also showed a real intent to immerse us in the firm's culture and give us an understanding or the core values of RPC.
as much was was required.
I knew nothing of the insurance industry before. Given that it is such a vast UK market the knowledge gained will be useful. I don't intend to practice in either area I sat at RPC.
The Company
Would have appreciated more information on where I was to sit before the scheme.
Fantastic.
Lots of talks and tours around the Lloyds building.
As well as could be expected in two weeks. Could have involved the vacation schemers in the firm's social side more e.g. encourage them to join 5 a side team.
Was clearly very important to the firm that this came across.
Already knew I wanted to do law but helped me realise I didn't want to do insurance sector work.
Everything Else
I was fortunate to stay with family but I know some people struggled financially with living in London on the rate paid.
Plenty.
Enjoyable and effective.
Possibly but the emphasis wasn't here. We had our own extra curricula activities attended by lawyers, not RPC's own events.
Definitely.
