The Role
It was a very busy pharmacy compared to my previous experiences therefor i did learn a lot but did not get enough time to complete the student workbook.
It was quite a busy environment where most people didn't have enough time to get very familiar, which is justified. But my relationship was better with them towards the end of the placement.
Most people I came across were helpful.
Veru busy on most days.
I was given a range of responsibilities where appropraite and where I could fill in for someone else.
It was realistic experience of what I might face in community pharmacy and has given me insight which should help me when i begin my career.
The Company
It was alright.
it was pretty organised to start with but due to unforseen circumstances my tutor had to leave therefore at times I did not really know what I was supposed to be doing.
I am quite grateful actually because in the current climate it is very difficult to find a job especially just for the holiday period when you are back from university. Furthermore, it was directly rekated to and a very good reflection of what I will face in the future. Furthermore, the manager was very accomodating to me in terms of allowing me to make up the time which i missed on a few occasions due to hospital visits.
Flexi Time
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
If I carry on with the another placemnet then I am sure I will get a pre-reg place.
The Culture
There was no such scene.
Did not live in the area nor do i want to socialise there.
Did not experiment with that.
nO.
