The Role
The placement was okay. It was interesting to be able to get a feel of the pharmacy environment, as I haven't worked in a pharmacy before.
Most colleagues were quite co-operative and got on well with me.
Some support was given.
Most days were good, because I was quite busy, and had quite a bit to occupy myself with.
I was allowed to dispense medicines and was trusted quite a bit with producing medicine trays etc.
I didn't learn a great deal more than what I already knew, but it was good to be able to get a feel for working in a busy pharmacy.
The Company
The atmosphere was okay.
The placement was okay. I liked the work placement folder as it gave me clear goals to follow, and gave me something to do when it was quite.
The company made a good effort to enable me to further develop.
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
I will still consider working for Lloyds in the future, but would first like to explore other avenues of work available to a pharmacist, as I feel that there are other pharmacy settings that may be better suited to me.
The Culture
In general, people got on okay socially.
The cost was perfect. It wasn't unreasonable.
I don't go out at night.
There were okay opportunities. Not as much as you might want or expect.
