The Role
Though still 2 months in, I'm enjoying my placement on the whole. The work I've been given has been managable and but can vary in excitement
Very valued. They consider me to be a permanent member of the team and I get on really well with them
Most of the support and guidance have come from my colleagues rather than my managers
Can vary but most days I'm not too busy which is a shame. Occasionally I get a lot at once which can be stressful but ultimately rewarding at the end
I've been mainly stuck to supporting projects and helping where needs be but I believe this will change for the better as time goes on
When I return to university, I will definitelly have more knowledge of the industry, harder work ethic and time management
The Company
My current office is pretty layed back. It's a no tie affair every day and on Fridays its non-uniform. My colleagues are pretty chatty and we like to play jokes on eachother
Very well organised with a welcome week for all IP students and an IP student day. There hasn't been any "who's this guy" moments yet!
I'll be going on two tax introduction courses soon at the firm's training centres so it shows they really invest into staff
Subsidised Canteen
Financial Bonus
Travel loan
I hope they're good! There are lots of promotions that go on so I hope I've done enough for a grad job!
The Culture
Not much goes on between IP students but my colleagues go out to the pub at lunch every week
I'm living at home so not much! Though London is heard to be on the pricey side

There are opportunities, I just haven't taken a fancy to them
