The Role
Thoroughly enjoyed my internship with EY. The structure of the internship program is faultless.
From the start of the internship I was fully embraced In the tax team in Edinburgh. I was included in social events and team meetings and felt that the team were grateful for the work I helped them with.
The support and guidance given by my team was absolutely fantastic. They were also very approachable if I needed to ask questions.
Apart from the odd day I was kept busy. I also had a project to do for my team so on days when I wasn't busy I could work on that which was great.
As much as expected for the junior role I was doing.
The skills I learned helped me to contextualise accounting theory that I learned at uni.
The Company
An incredibly friendly atmosphere. Very team-orientated. Everyone in the office was chatty and friendly
The internship structure and organisation is well thought out and absolutely faultless
Their feedback process helps your personal training and development.

The Culture
Yes absolutely perfect which added to the overall enjoyment of the internship.
I live in Edinburgh for uni so was already used to the cost of living and socialising.
