The Role
Work placement has been an invaluable experience for me. With support from colleagues and superiors, it is an ideal place to work at.
The best part of the placement is people acknowledge and value our contributions towards the company.
With guidance and support from the management, day- to- day job becomes a lot easier and at the same time, I have learnt a lot of new things and manged to put some management theories I have learnt in university into practice.
I am normally fully occupied on a daily basis but that is when I utilised most of my time learning new things, which is hard to obtain elsewhere.
From day one, I was treated like a full time staff in the company and was given as much responsibilities as any other colleagues at work.
With the skills that I have learnt from work, I have improved my soft skills, particularly in managing time and become more organised which helped me a lot, in juggling between working towards meeting deadlines for few assignments at the same time.
The Company
I was offered a full time job upon completion of my placement leaving me with more options after graduation.
