The Role
Really enjoyed it. Was able to contribute to client work that actually mattered to the company and was given considerable responsibility over deliverables. Colleagues were also extremely friendly and welcoming.
Colleagues went out of their way to assist us with any of our queries and always took time out of their day to either check on us or chat about the work that they've been up to. They also didn't hesitate to provide us with extra work to do if we had some free time and were very appreciative when the work we did for them was of the standard required.
Interns were each allocated a buddy, typically a few years our senior, to help us to settle in and answer any silly day-to-day questions that we may have. We were also assigned a senior manager as our counsellor who is more involved in career planning and guidance.
Busy almost every day. On the rare occasions when we didn't have client work, we were able to work on an internal project that was given to us at the start of the internship.
Plenty. I was usually left to my own to complete deliverables, although help was only an email or a friendly chat away.
I feel my time management skills have definitely improved and is something I can apply to the final year of my degree.
The Company
Friendly atmosphere. Can get quiet when most consultants are out on client visits.
Extremely well organised. Was provided with a schedule for the 6 weeks on my first day in the office.
The company will provide you with training and time off to gain a professional qualification once you join them as a full time employee.

The Culture
London, so social scene is really good if you can find the time. Typically went out for drinks at least once a week with colleagues.
London, so not cheap at all.
Really good as it was in central London.
Yes plenty of societies and groups, but it was difficult to join as an intern.
