    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • the staff i worked with were pleasant and helpful. i learnt alot in a short space of time so feel it was very worthwhile. it was a great way to spend the summer

    • my collegues were friendly and very helpfull

    • my manager helped me alot throughout my placement even though she had a heavy workload

    • the store was very busy at times and then quite at others but this gave me time to complete my work folder

    • the manager allowed me to be hands on in all aspects of the store

    • it was an invaluable experience and i have gained alot from it

    • there was a pleasant feeling the majority of the time

    • i felt like a member of the team even though i was only there for a temporary period the company alowed me to learn a great deal

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • i did not encounter any other students on the placement, perhaps it would be nice to have a social for the fellow students on placement in the area

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?

    • i live relatively close by to the area which i worked in therefore the cost of living was not expensive, my only great outgoings was the cost of travel
