The Role
My placement was very enjoyable. I was given many areas of responsibility for my position which had a real impact on business. This was pretty important for me because I could clearly see the impact of the work that I had done having an effect on business.
I felt very valued by all of my colleagues. I was treated exactly the same as everyone else which was important in my development. Also the work I was given was pretty important for the department.
Whenever I needed help with a task my managers would always assist when possible.
I always had work to do during my placement. I had many different tasks to manage - some were year long projects others were monthly tasks. There was a vast range of work and projects in my workload which was very good for my development and organisational skills.
I was given a lot of responsibility. Some of the work I was managing was at a very high value to the department.
The main skills that are transferable to my degree would be organisation and time management skills.
The Company
The atmosphere was very good in the office - everyone was very friendly and easy going.
The placement was well organised and structured to my personal needs.
On a personal level I was given quite a lot of training - both domestically and internationally.

Working from home
There are opportunities of future employment after leaving placement.
The Culture
No real social scene outside of work.
Living expenses were not too expensive in the midlands area.
I personally lived in the Staffordshire area. The nightlife was not really appealing.
There were no real social events outside of work.
