  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Very enjoyable and certainly gave me a job option I would like to pursue in the future

  • Felt like a member of the team from very early on, everybody very friendly

  • Always advised on better way to do things, always took the time out to help. Excellent

  • Some days too busy, some days not enough, most days an excellent balance

  • Allowed to do my own thing in line with various projects and had it checked, not spoon fed but not left to my own devices without a clue, perfect balance

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • More competent in office activities and hoping to get into investment, so that side of the work was priceless

  • Everyone very friendly and atmosphere reflected this

  • Aside from the expenses taking a long time and the surprise extra day in London on the first week a very well put together internship

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • Put a lot of money into the internship procedure and paid for all my trips to London/elsewhere and paid me well during, also took me on training days and held useful conference calls on various investment aspects.

  • Would take a job straight away if offered, still waiting on the feedback!

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Went for lunch a few times and most turned up to the office social the other week!

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Not terrible, but drinks were expensive, and meals also. Rent was OK, however

  • Very busy nightlife in leeds city centre

  • 5-a-side football, Office socials, lots going on!
