The Role
I have really enjoyed my experience working at AonHewitt and it has confirmed my decision that I want to go on and become an Actuary.
I got on well with my colleagues and always completed the work asked of me.
My colleagues and manager were very supportive and helpful and did not mind me asking lots of questions.
Some days were busier than others..could have been busier on a whole.
I feel like I was given a great deal of responsibility..carrying out the same work as my colleagues. I had a good variety of work.
This internship has been a great experience..I have had the opportunity to develop my teamworking, networking and interpersonal skills which are vital in any job. I have also experienced planning and organising events, which was new for me!
The Company
Everyone was very friendly and approachable..however not so over the top that no work got done!
I was always aware of dates and deadlines and what I was supposed to be doing.
I have been giving the sufficent training required to do this job.
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
I would love to be offered a position on the graduate scheme. I have been very impressed.
The Culture
Not so much in Glasgow but when I met up with the other interns in London.
The socialising was cheap however the rent was not.
I have really enjoyed experiencing Glasgow nightlife.
Netball weekend and a dinner.
