The Role
I am enjoying it very much, everyone here is very up beat and friendly and always here to help.
very valued from everyone I work with.
Both managers and supervisors, and everyone else for that matter always make sure I am getting on well and have work to get on with.
fairly busy, some weeks very busy some not, but nothing to complain about.
given a lot of responsibility, given own projects to get on with.
all the skills and training gained from this year so far are transferable to my later studies and career.
The Company
The office is a very happy place, very hard working and quiet at times, but very friendly.
Once I had been here for a while they started to find me more and more work, which is expected.
lots of personal training completed, including online training for equipment, and also physical training for machinery. also a two day trip to Perterborough for simulated work environment training.
Very appealing. Very very nice place to work, with very friendly people. also the job is so varied that there are many different things to do which makes it very interesting.
The Culture
there were only two other placement students on site here, but we arranged to meet up as often as we could.
the costs of living down south are more expensive than up north, but I stayed with family which kept the cost down.
the night life in Bournemouth is very good! and the pubs around where I live are also very lively and friendly.
many opportunity's to do activates with people from work, different things like wake boarding and go karting, also charity events like running races and bowling. Also a company day out to long leat safari park!
