The Role
It was an amazing experience working with great people in a hugely diverse and everchanging environment.
I was treated extremely well by everyone.
Any time I needed any help I had a vast number of people I could ask who were always willing to give up their time to help
I was given plenty of tasks but I was rarely rushed off my feet.
I was given genuine work to do, however it was not the top end, high priority work. Also all my work was checked time and time again before it went out so I knew any mistakes would be picked up.
I have learnt much more about investment in these 8 weeks than I have in 2 years of study.
The Company
Everyone was so friendly and there was plenty of banter between everyone.
It was quite a new team so not everyone understood exactly what the internship was for, but it didnt affect my day to day work.
Not only was I learning skills through my day-to-day tasks, but I was also able to take lots of extra online courses free of charge.
Flexi Time
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
I am yet to find out if I got the job but its a sector which is growing very quickly and the internship is to find graduates.
The Culture
There were events organised down in London on the first and last day of the internship but that was about it.
Its the area I go to university in so I know all the cheapest places to go.
Manchester has a great nightlife.
I was able to get involved in things such as fantasy football and there were other events but they over ran my internship so I wasn't able to get involved with them.
