The Role
Day to day work (eg updating databases) not the most exciting, attending meetings, viewings etc much more interesting and valuable.
Everyone willing to help and there to ask questions. Interns included in social events.
Had catch up meetings, were willing to discuss any queries and checked back with progress.
Always had something to be getting on with.
Contacts made is helpful, could see what you learnt in class was applicable and what wasn't so vital, gives real life examples on topics we study.
The Company
Good, everyone friendly and would see each other out of work, though of course most people were busy so good balance of chat and quiet for work.
Fairly well, sometimes days or tasks were planned as you go, eg if someone was going to a meeting you'd just join them as they were leaving if it was appropriate.
Company Parties/Events
The kind of company I would like to work for, nice size of office, big enough so there's lots going on, small enough to know everyone, with opportunities to work up the ranks and support with professional training.
The Culture
Yes, was included in "Young Surveyors" event, as well as more impromptu social times
Good-central in biggest cities in Scotland.
