The Role
8/10 - I'm enjoyed very much my intership in marketing - Brand & Marcomms in terms of new skills adquired, knowlegde gained in a new field, know how to performe in the bussiness world, relashionships and network developed, learning to work under pressure and deliver work in short time, absorve helders experiences and knowledge and test + improve my self every single day .
I fell valuaed by most of my colleagues. My manager gives me an honest beeback regarding my work and that keeps me going because allows me to define my goals and the type of deliverables I need to develop.
I am asked to do things that change daily because they are very functional. Most of the time I have to find out the way to performe by my self but that was agreed since day 1 so I can manage this just fine. Troubles can happen when I'm asked to to things I was not trained/formed in the first place. I dind't have a proper induction regarding the work I'm assigned for so people ask me for things i don't know very often but after 2 months an half I got used to this and can handle this without mager problem.
On a daily basis I'm always busy. Some weeks I get to leave by 6pm but some others I stay in late because my help is required to help develop the projects running at the moment. I can devide my work assignment in 2 big areas: 1.Digital&Media; 2. Srategy Support. I develop work and give input in the first one along with the team and give support to get things done on the second one, more like an assitent.
I'm given medium responsability. In Didital&Media i add value and run a couple of things by my self but nothing really big. In strategy i am a helpful assistence. i can see that my presence is very important and keeps everyone going but I fell I could be doing more. I believe that the responsability will come with time and after ganning everyone's trust and respect for what I do.
I've learnt a lot about marketing which is a new field for me because my degree is in sociology. There is a fine link between this two fields as they are both foucus on human behaviour and the current job got me to understand more and more about the "human of today's society". Still I believe I've been learning more on how to perform in the bussiness world. I think that more then assisting in my degree skills this job has taught me how to performe in my daily basis, how to work better with people, what is expected from me and where can I grow and become better.
The Company
The general atmosphere in my office is very welcoming, people are friendly and they cooperate. When work is putting all of us under stress we cooperate and try to help each other.
I was hired to help around across all topics where is needed so my intership was not organized like a "normal" one. I was happy to work like that since day 1 but if I have to be honest it is more dificult then I expected.
The company as been investing in me on the tasks they need my help for: Media&digital and strategy support. They showed me how to use the required tools and how to do it once. Along the way if something new comes along they can train me to do so if I feel that need and ask for it.

Working from home
Vodafone is a multinational company and very flexible so I could see my self working in several fields. For the time beeing I'm doing my best at my department aiming for a renew of my contract but always looking across all oportunities within the company.
The Culture
I've been working on my network at this company and so I manage to gain some new relashionships but I don't work with people from my age. .
I'm a very sociable person and every place I go I find new fellows and contacts so for me this came naturally. Also in the beginning my team introduced me to the key people I sould know around my department and other departments we work with on a daily basis.
Yes there was. My team is very sociable and that built a good balance.
