The Role
Enjoyed the work once I got involved more.
Felt well needed for carrying out tasks.
Whenever I asked I had good responses and help.
Very busy when had projects on going. Time where I had to look for jobs to do.
Some of the projects I carried out had responsibility that made me fell important.
The placement will certainly assist me beyond my degree. Not so much for the degree. Helped with time management and professional conduct though.
The Company
Always changing atmosphere. From intense to chilled.
There was no real structure. Mainly as my role is very spontaneous when coming to projects needed to be done. In a JIT factory you can't plan for what's to come sometimes.
Attended a couple of workshops. Nothing specifically personal to my skills.
I don't think i'll be looking for any job prospects here. Potentially aboard though. The graduate scheme looks inviting.
The Culture
Yes we all got on very well and work with each other through out.
I lived in Newcastle. Compared to studying in oxford it was brilliant.
Newcastle has it all.
I joined a university society and so had a very active social life outside of work.
