The Role
I found it very interesting and a good atmosphere to work in.
A lot of work which I did saved other colleagues time and went out to clients or became parts of final reports and I think that this was helpful.
My buddy has been extremely helpful and answers any questions which I have. My supervisor has also been friendly, helpful and approachable.
Some days I would only have a few tasks to do but could keep busy with my summer intern project. Most days, however, I have had a good amount of work to do.
A lot of work which I did went out to clients or became parts of final reports and while it was checked by my superiors it is still quite a responsibility.
Excellent chance to get an insight into my chosen profession and vital skills leaned on the job.
The Company
Very friendly and quite relaxed whilst still being professional.
Everything was clearly explained to me and i knew what and when I was to do things.
I have been taught a lot, not only about Mercer, but about pensions in general and in this way I feel like they have really been interested in my personal development.
Company Parties/Events
I can definitely see myself working here in the future.
The Culture
I was the only intern in my office but my colleagues and I went out for lunch several times.
Centre of Glasgow has great nightlife and easy to get to the west end etc
Not much other than lunches and drinks.
