  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • The summer scheme was a fantastic insight into life at RPC. I really enjoyed the two weeks and got a better understanding on what a career in Law entails.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?

    • I was made to feel part of RPC even though I was only there for a short duration. The fee earners were willing to spend time with me and gave me feedback on the work I completed.

    • Lots of support from support staff and the fee earners.

    • I learnt a lot on the scheme and will definitely use the skills I gained in the future.

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?

    • The scheme was really well organised with something on every day. Never a dull moment!

    • Everyone was very friendly, I felt at home from day one.

    • We were treated as if we were in the first few weeks of our training contract. The scheme definitely helped me to understand the role of a trainee.

    • Felt very much part of the culture, getting involved with day to day activities across the firm. Everyone was very approachable and friendly.

    • Very, I'd like to pursue a career in law.

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?

    • Free lunches and free breakfasts (between 8:00-8:30) were also provided.

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?

    • Lots of opportunities to meet with people from across the firm.

  • 13. How were the networking/ social event opportunities?

    • Our programme for the two weeks was full of social and networking opportunities. Partners and Associates were very happy to spend time telling me about their experiences at RPC and a career in Law generally.
