The Role
I enjoyed it thoroughly, especially the social events and weekly interactions with colleagues from different disciplines within the same work group. The environment is conducive and the mentors are really helpful, guiding you along the way, despite them having other projects to attend to.
Quite well. If you are willing to learn and approach them whenever you'd like to get some work done, they will be more than willing to provide more work and teach you along the way if you have further questions. Eventually, they will give you greater responsibilities.
A large amount. My mentor was really patient and went back to basics. Even giving me advice on my future career and a ground up understanding of the entire project and situation prior to a meeting or presentation.
On most days, it is relatively busy. But overall, it is average.
Quite a substantial amount, especially if you make it known to your supervisor that you would like to do more.
It helped me to understand the industry better and how my knowledge and skills can be applied to the projects that I am involved in. Some skills such as the use of different design and calculation software, aided me in my understanding of various structures and the placement of objects at strategic location.
