The Role
Loved it, great company to work for, given a lot of responsibility from the beginning, and given roles more advanced than I would have expected on a placement.
Really valued, generally not viewed upon as a placement student but as a valued member of the company. At times I completely forgot I was a on a placement!
A lot of support from my line manager, she was really enthusiastic about my development and really keen to help with my progression post the placement.
Very! Always had something to do from day 1, I was never bored and the days and weeks flew by!
Lots of responsibility, more than I would have ever though for a placement. Led my own projects completely with lots of visibility to senior members of staff.
I have finished my degree, but the skills I have developed here will certainly help me in my future career. I have progressed so much and in ways I didn't even know beforehand that I could! Part of that is down to me pushing for opportunities and responsibility where possible, but part of it is definitely down to learning from my colleagues and the support they have given me throughout. Also, you are encouraged to attend conferences and workshops that you feel would be of use.
The Company
People work very hard but also have a lot of fun, the atmosphere is laid back, appropriately informal, and really open. I never felt that I couldn't go up and speak to someone, no matter what their position in the company.
Very, no compaints.
They gave me my freedom to attend conferences, webinars, workshops etc that I felt would be of use to me. It is also encouraged that you attend internal meetings that you feel are of interest, even if you aren't directly involved.

I would definitely like to stay working within Danone.
The Culture
Yes everyone is really sociable. Placement drinks after work were often organised.
London - expensive!
Not much nightlife here, but very easy to go into central London where there is plenty. The location is great.
Yes - weekly netball club, free weekly yoga classes, team trips and incentives, etc.
