    Everything Else

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?
  • There were plenty of opportunities to network and meet the employees, our team leaders were EY employees. Also we had a dinner with one of the EY partners and more EY employees came along to the dinner, so there was many opportunities to network.

    5/5

  • 13. How were the networking/ social event opportunities?
  • The networking events were very good, they were very relaxed and enjoyable the EY employees were very easy to talk to and very willing to answer our questions as thoroughly as they could. It was also a chance to find out how their work life balance was like and explore some of the hobbies they enjoyed outside of work. Also it wasn't just employees from the London office so gave people who weren't applying to London a chance to get some insight into other offices.

    5/5

  • 14. Did you find out about activities that employees can get involved in outside of work?
  • Yes a lot of the employees spoke about activities they do outside of work and how despite having a lot of work they were able to keep a good work life balance and EY respected that. All the employees I spoke to had one or more activities they carried out outside of work .

    4/5

  • 15. Would you recommend this insight to a friend?
  • I would definitely recommend the insight to a friend, it is really good at not just giving you information on job roles but it also allows you to grow as an individual. You learn how to interact with people in a business setting, how to work well in teams and how to be an effective leader and you do all this while making new friends and developing life long friend ships
